Tis the Season

It's been awhile friends!

Let me catch you up.

I love Mississippi State.
Not just because we have had an incredible football season, but because of this place.
It has become my home.
My family.
The people I have met have become some of my dearest friends.
I have an incredible, godly boyfriend who amazes me each day.

It has been a whirlwind.
This semester is almost finished, and finals are quickly approaching.

What have I learned?

Don't wish away today.
People are more important than GPA.
Putting God first will help you in ALL areas of your life.
I can be real.
My faith in God is the only thing that should define me.

Tis the season to give thanks, and I give thanks that God led me here.

I really would not want to be anywhere else.

Sure, it can get stressful and I would love to sleep for a week straight, but the moments here with the people I love are forever changing my life.
My professors who care and who challenge me inspire me to follow all of my dreams.

Tis the season to be extremely thankful.

Game Day Fun.

A Choice

It is the third week of school, and I can't help but wonder where the time has gone.

It has been a whirlwind trying to get adjusted, but I love it.

I love the people.
I love my classes.
I love my church family.

Transferring has been a huge blessing in my life.

I have also had to say no, a lot.

Each year I learn more and more about how important choices are.

Choices range from getting up in the morning for class to who do I want to become in life.

It is scary and uncomfortable.

I have felt awkward and even judgmental.

But, could my saying no to certain things lead others to Christ?
What is my choice telling them?

I am going to mess up and make the wrong decisions, but just trying everyday to live a life for Him is one of the best choices one can ever make.

What kind of choice will you make?
